Hudson Valley Farm Stand and Hidden Getaway

What’s up y’all!  I am late with this post, I know, but it’s Thursday morning so it’s kind of, sort of, not as bad, maybe?  Anyways!  There isn’t really too much I wanted or needed to say, I just really wanted to show you guys some of the beautiful things we saw after leaving the barn sale and heading to our Air Bnb!  The people we were staying with told us about this farm stand that somehow managed to always have delicious fruits and vegetables from all over the place, so of course we had to stop by!  I got an apple that the farm actually grew itself as well as some cheese and a gluten-free blondie (which I was SO excited to find!!) and Mav got some fresh peaches and cider.  Our hosts were right, everything was delicious!!  I absolutely love getting fresh food and miss my CSA membership every single day. It’s a great way to support the local community and cut down on your carbon footprint!

Finding the house we were staying at turned out to be a little bit difficult because we lost cell reception and it is literally tucked away in the woods.  The aesthetic of the place was really cool and made for a great weekend escape. We were greeted by the hosts crew of pets which included a couple of dogs, a cat, and a lot of chickens and rooster!  We unfortunately didn’t get to explore as much of her land as we wanted because it began to rain 🙁  Our host was really sweet though and in addition to providing us with a lot of information about places to see, we woke up to fresh cut melon and peaches!IMG_6840LOW IMG_6841LOW IMG_6842LOW IMG_6843LOW IMG_6847LOW IMG_6848LOW IMG_6850LOW IMG_6853LOW IMG_6856LOW IMG_6858LOW IMG_6861LOW IMG_6871LOW IMG_6874LOW IMG_6875LOW

AirBnb is a great resource for last-minute adventures/getaways/vacations.  I’m excited to hopefully utilize it for more of those situations and share my experiences with you guys 🙂  I hope you enjoy, and I’ll see you next time!!
